Aquitania, Tito and Dalusong are the Academic Scholars of the School of CSIT

Ms. Rosaleeh M. Aquitania and Mr. Paul Louie L. Tito are the half tuitional scholars of the School of CSIT. In the recently concluded deliberation of academic scholars and service grantees, the two (2) 4th year BSIT students were recommended by the Dean for half tuitional scholarship and having been found qualified was approved by the Committee on Scholarships, Grants and Awards. Ms. Princess Joy R. Dalusong on the other hand is recommended as a full-tuitional academic entrance scholar. Ms. Dalusong is a valedictorian from the Cagasat High School, Magsaysay, Cordon, Isabela.

Academic scholarships are given to students who excel in academics and is given to deserving students every semester for each school year. The full tuitional scholarship is awarded to students with a general weighted average (GWA) of 1.0 – 1.5 while the half tuitional scholarship is awarded to those with a general weighted average of 1.51-1.75. Ms. Aquitania’s GWA is 1.61 while Mr. Tito has a GWA of 1.75. The academic entrance scholarship on the other hand is given to high school students who graduate as valedictorian and half tuitional scholarship for high school salutatorian.

Ms. Rosaleeh Aquitania, a graduate of Saint Louis High School of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya is a consistent academic scholar from first year to the present. She worked as a student assistant at the Quality Assurance Monitoring and Evaluation Office (QUAMEO) for one year. Mr. Paul Louie Tito on the other hand is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University High School and is a transferee from the School of Engineering and Architecture.

The Scholarship, Grants and Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Dean also approved seven (7) applicants for the Dean’s list. The Dean’s Listers are three (3) 2nd year students; Gurat, Asley Jan P., Ms. Reyes, Saharra Micah B. and Ms. Trinidad, Desiree Jane A. and four (4) third (3rd) year students; Ms. Aron, Kathyrene D., Mr. Cabanag, Jerome A., Mr. Maquiling, Jesthony G. and Mr. Ramos, Niño.
